Gloria Rochelle Mayer peacefully passed away on April 17th, 2024 in Lady Lake, Florida at the tender age of 87. She was born on June 7th, 1937 in NYC. Daughter of Sylvia and Morris Rosbach, sister to Howard. Gloria grew up in Forest Hills, NY where she attended and graduated Forest Hills

High school. During her time there she made some special friendships that would last a lifetime. In fact the bond between these women was closer to a sisterhood and it was one of her greatest prides, along with her family.  She met the love of her life Leonard Mayer while working as an executive assistant for his best friend Arnold Argo. They built a beautiful family with their two children Mitchell, and Paul.  After the boys grew up, she began a career as an office manager in real estate and interior design where she thrived.

Gloria was a nurturing, loving mother, and Grandmother, she was also a devoted wife (until her last breath) and a loyal friend. She loved to travel, laugh, have a good conversation, or a good meal. She also loved to read and like everyone else in the family had passion for a good movie in a big NYC movie theater. She could light up a room with her smile and fill it with her laughter.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Gloria is survived by her two sons Mitchell and Paul and their wives Alix and Shannon.  The service will be Friday, April 26th at Florida National Cemetery , in Bushnell, FL at 2:PM.  Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449.  Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com .
