Gordon Leslie Lathrop, 95, of Ocala, FL passed away at the E.W. and Lucille Cates Hospice House in Ocala, FL on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was born in Prudence, Rhode Island and moved to Ocala in 1990 from Clinton, Connecticut. Gordon was a US Army veteran of WW II. He retired from United Illuminating Company in New Haven, CT. He enjoyed travel, casino gaming, family times, and the Boston Red Sox. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lynn Lathrop of Ocala, FL, his son Scott Lathrop of Ocala, FL, and his daughter Cheryl Lathrop of Jacksonville, FL.
