IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Grace
Hodgin
December 29, 1955 – February 1, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Hodgin, better known as Grace, on February 1, 2024. Grace was born on December 29, 1955, and her life was marked by profound kindness, empathy, and fervor for the ones she loved.
Grace is survived by her devoted spouse, Rohn Hodgin; they shared a love that was evident to all who knew them. Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving children, daughter Garah Cassady, and her son, Jonas Walden. Grace was a beloved sister to Candace Killian, who now keeps fond stories and shared memories of their bond. Grace's infectious laughter and unconditional love will also be fondly kept alive by her adoring grandchildren, Kelvyn, Brinley and Lucas Cassady.
Grace was predeceased by her father, James Riden; and mother, Freda Riden. Their guidance and love shaped Grace into the woman that we all knew and loved. We find solace in believing that they are now reunited and watching over us.
Grace was an accomplished fabric artist who created in Dressmaking, Knitting, Embroidery and Tatting. As well she excelled while creating in the Ceramic arts and in Printing.
Grace has left an indelible mark on all our hearts. Her kindness, courage, and unfailing optimism will forever be remembered. Her spirit, filled with warmth and light, lives on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
