Grace Kathryn (Kathy) Boldt, 66, passed away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on November 14, 2023. She was born, in New Castle, Indiana September 2, 1957 to Ernest Theodore (Ted) Boldt and Mary Rose Mathews Boldt. The oldest of four daughters.

She graduated from Lawrence Central High School and studied Histology at Winona Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis. She moved to Florida and began working at Sarapath Diagnostics in 1996. She had planned to retire in March 2024.

She is survived by her partner for 24 years, James Douglas Middleton, and sisters, Stephanie Phillips (Greg), and Collette Mee (Dennis). Also surviving nephews, R. Matthew Payne, Derek Gri ff ey, Aaron Gri ff ey (Lindy), Evan Phillips, Samuel Phillips.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, and sister Julie Boldt. Also her only and favorite Great-niece Sophia Rose Payne.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The Humane Society of Sarasota County, 2331 15th St., Sarasota, Fl, 23237 A celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, December 9 , 2023 at the American Legion Post #30, 4015 N Lockwood Ridge Rd., Sarasota, FL, 34234 from 1pm- 4pm.
