Gregge K. Johnson, age 72, passed away on December 29, 2023, in Naples, Florida.  He courageously fought cancer for 17 months and is now with our Heavenly Father.

Gregge was born July 5, 1951, to Lewis and Barbara Keller in Minneapolis.  He grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka Senior High School.  He then began training as a locomotive engineer for Soo Line Railroad and received his engineering degree.  In 1976, he started Five Star Construction Company building new homes and remodeling.

He married Barbara Roos on August 9, 1980.  His pride and joy was his family.  He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, boating, water sports, scuba diving, snow skiing, and snowmobiling.  He loved to participate and watch all sports, particularly playing with the grandchildren.  As a family they loved to travel, be adventurous, and have fun.

In 2014, after they both were retired they moved to Cape Coral, Florida to enjoy the beautiful weather and all that Florida had to offer.

Gregge was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Barbara Keller.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barb; son, Bryan (Carrie) Johnson; daughter, Katie (Bill) Flynn; daughter, Megan (Justin) Leonard; daughter, Alison Johnson; grandchildren, Madeline, Ellesha, Trevor, Nathan, Connor, Carter, Logan, Gavin, Millie; great-grandson, Hunter; siblings, Dawn, Karen, Lori, Cindy, Todd, and Kirsten; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family of Gregge wish to extend our sincere thanks to his fabulous Prayer Warriors, and medical team.

Gregge's visitation will be at the Elk River United Methodist Church, 1304 Main Street NW, Elk River, Minnesota on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  His Celebration of Life will be on January 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
