Gregory Paul Lyman, 71, passed away peacefully at home in New Smyrna Beach, FL on January 13, 2022 with his wife by his side. He believed in Jesus Christ and knew he would be going home. Greg was born in Painesville, Ohio, but lived most of his life in New Smyrna Beach. His parents were Maurice and Mary Lou Lyman. He had a brother, Terry, and a sister, Debbie. He married Miriam Guest and had three wonderful children of whom he was very proud: Ryan Lyman (Tracie), Kerry Lyman Jones (Glenn), and Dylan Lyman (Christi). He had eight grandchildren: Ezekiel, Abigail, Alethea, Barnabas, Alexus, and Adelyne Jones, and Kira and Addison Lyman. He loved his family and the joy of being a grandpa. Greg was a Lieutenant with the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department for twenty-two years. He said he worked with the finest group of dedicated men and women. Over the years he also worked hanging drywall and construction, including Peck Construction, and built or worked at many medical facilities throughout central Florida, from Jacksonville to Orlando. Greg was always busy with family, work, or sports. He loved to gig flounder in the river, hunt, and ride his motorcycle with his boys. He played softball for Brand X, basketball, golfed, and loved our beach.

Greg's celebration of life will be at Baldwin Brothers, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, on January 28, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00pm.
