Gregory John MacKenzie, 63, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Thursday March 15, 2018.  A native of Chicago, IL he was an Assistant Chief of the Iona-McGregor Fire Department.

He was a mentor for youth programs, Coach for Pop Warner for 10 years.  He enjoyed fishing camping cooking and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his wife Linda S. MacKenzie of Ft. Myers, his mother Margaret MacKenzie of Ft. Myers, FL; daughters Tamara Lea MacKenzie-Winn of Lehigh Acres, FL, Breanne Lynn MacKenzie of Ft. Myers, FL;  step-son Frank Kurzawa of Hagerstown, MD; brother Steve MacKenzie, Sevierville, TN; sisters Barbara Jean Yarborough, Mercer, TN and Jocelyn McEllen of Chicago, IL; mother-in-law Dorothy Cerny, Ft. Myers, FL; 6 grandchildren
