Gregory Alan Woodford of Ocala, Florida passed away on February 4, 2025, at the E.W. & Lucille Cates House of Hospice of Marion County in Ocala, Florida. Gregory was 74 years old.

He was born on December 14, 1950, to George B. Woodford and Dorothy I. (Fritz) Woodford in Huntingburg, Indiana. In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his brother Ronald W. Woodford and a grandson Dalen Gregory Proctor.

Gregory graduated from Winslow High School in Winslow, Indiana in 1969. Over the course of his life, he worked in management in the coal industry and various management positions in the manufacturing industry. Gregory loved to hunt and fish. He married Beth Ann (Ashby) Woodford on December 20, 1969, and they were married for 55 years. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, Marsha (Woodford) Stevens of Ocala, Florida, Alan and Dodie (Onyett) Woodford of Winslow, Indiana, and Nora Woodford of Ocala, Florida, and 6 grandchildren Kendal Stevens of Ocala, Florida, Kaden Stevens of Ocala, Florida, Malynn Proctor of Summerfield, Florida, Hannah Woodford in Winslow, Indiana, Helanah Proctor of Ocala, Florida, and Heidi Woodford of Winslow, Indiana also a Sister in Law, Quanna Woodford of Carmel, Indiana. There are several nieces, nephews, and extended family members that will miss him dearly. He also had an adopted son, Clinton Coble from Dayton, Ohio.

There will be no funeral at this time, but a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see. When he takes me by the hand and leads me through the promise land. What a day, glorious day that will be.
