Guenter George Rohrhirsh, 73, of Port Orange died peacefully in his sleep Friday, January 22, 2010 at his home.  George was born September 5, 1936 in Augsburg, Germany.  He was a veteran of the US Army and  worked for 42 years for the DeLaValle Turbine, Trenton, NJ.  In 1999 he and his wife moved to Port Orange from Levittown, PA.  He was preceded in death by son, William Layport.  George is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cloydette; son, George, Jr  and daughter, Donna Dee both of Trenton, NJ; son, Donald Layport, Allen Layport, Timothy Layport ;  daughter, Irene Bedekovich;  four granddaughters; three grandsons; two great grandchildren; sisters, Helga Genevs and Linda Rodreguez and brother-in-law, Floyd Taylor.
