Guy A (aka Al) Mitchell was born July 25, 1934, Lansing Michigan to Guy M. Mitchell and Celia I. (Brown) Mitchell.  Moved from Elsie, MI to Fruitland Park FL in 1982.  Predeceased by sister, Carole I. Mitchell and loving grandson, Kenny Beavers.  Survived by wife of 66 years, Elizabeth A. Mitchell, married on 2/14/1953.  Also surviving Al are his daughters, Starlet L. Carpenter of Dearborn Heights MI and Susan A. Mitchell of Cleveland OH.  Granddaughter, Sarah E. Perz, and two beautiful great granddaughters, Riley E. Perz and Avery J. Perz.  Al retired from sales in 1980 with the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (NML) of over 30 years.  Al received numerous sales awards with NML as well as with the National Assn. of Life Underwriters.  Al was active member of Fairway and Northside Christian Churches.  Al was a past Master and life member of Elsie Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #238.  Al wanted to include in his obituary "Please do not cry, just say to your fellow man, "what can I do to help you?  For I have now been advanced to that home not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens. "
