Halbert E Baker Sr (Grandaddy), 93, passed away on March 18th, 2025 in Ocala Fl.

Born on July 19th, 1931. Halbert proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as an LTCMD.

Halbert had a passion for fishing and spending time with his family. His dream was to live on the water and in the mid 60's he built his dream home on Lake Crescent, where he retired in 1972.

He is survived by his daughter Beverly Turner (Ronald Cannon)

Grandchildren: Kristyn Oborne (Michael), Shannon Koegler (Marcus), Christopher Turner (Kerry), Michael Turner ( Lauren), Rachel Hartley (Harrison).

Great Grandchildren: Brianna Oborne, Brooke Oborne, Bailee Oborne, Jackson Turner, Madison Turner, Ava Turner, Hayden Turner, Lottie Turner, Talon Lincoln and Hollis Hartley.

Great Great Grandchildren: Charlie Mark Payne

Halbert was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Elora Baker, his wife Nancy F Baker, his son Halbert E Baker Jr and his daughter Patricia L Asbury, and grandson Jason Scott.

Halbert's (Grandaddy) memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him so dearly. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be April 11th at 11:00 am at Baldwin Brothers located at 954 E Silver Springs Blvd Unit #200 Ocala Fl 34470
