Obituary

Harold Edward Bartlett, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and Vietnam War veteran, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in 1945, Harold was a lifelong resident of Fort Myers and graduated from North Fort Myers High School, Class of 1963.

In 1964, Harold enlisted in the United States Navy, where he proudly served as a Weapons System Technician during the Vietnam War. He dedicated 22 years to his military career, retiring in 1986. Throughout his service, Harold was known for his commitment, discipline, and leadership, qualities that carried over into his life after the Navy.

Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol Bartlett, and is survived by his seven children: Kathleen Stephenson (Greg), Kristine Stewart, Harold Bartlett II, Sean Bartlett (Jenifer), Ernest Bartlett (Rose), Cheri Rozsas (Chris), and Charlotte Bartlett. He leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry his legacy.

A devoted family man, Harold found joy in spending time with his loved ones, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of his life, with Military Honors, will be held on June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Fort Myers Corps, located at 10291 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL.
