Harriet Spencer Hill 1929-2018 Born: December 17, 1929 Middletown, Connecticut Born to: Frederick A Spencer (1875-1938) and Edna Caroline Baldwin (1899-1981) Graduated from: Woodrow Wilson High School, Middlefield, CT 1947 Married: Alfred B Hill, Sr (1931-2003) Children: Alfred B Hill, Jr (Shelley L.), Jeffrey S Hill (Sharron), Jeannine M (Theodore J.) Pickard, Sidney F Hill. Harriet worked as a shipper for the Lyman Gunsight Corporation after high school in Middlefield, CT. She also was a switch board operator at the Lyman Orchards Happy Acres Country Club. She held various other jobs but was mainly a homemaker. She was very active in many choral clubs for more than 50 years, she enjoyed singing and being in concerts. A wonderful sense of humor, she enjoyed a good laugh. Harriet moved, with family, to Florida in 1970. She was very active in the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, FL. She is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
