Obituary

A Time To Learn Hattie was born on June 16, 1939, she was a lifelong native of Ocala, FL (Cottonplant). She was born to the Late Brother Alexander and Sister Hattie Cogdell. She was married to The Late Luther Hilbert for over 30 years. She was educated in public schools of Marion County. She loved to cook and was also a certified nurse assistant for the Cluster Home as well as a cook for Timber Ridge Rehab Center.

Her Enjoyment In Life Hattie spent her life with much laughter, fun and love. She always had a smile and cared for everyone. She believed in helping others. Her enjoyment in life was work and family, Her labor of love demonstrated the joy she received from doing what she loved: SERVING. She attended Wesley Chapel Cottonplant Community Church. She lived a joyous life which will always be remembered in the Cottonplant Community.

Time To Mourn: Hattie Bell is survived by her brother Curtis Cogdell. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Alice Whaley Ocala, FL; Five sons Millard Rucker (Kathy) Ocala, Fl; Ulysses Locke (Barbara) St. Petersburg, FL; Lewis Hilbert (Lennatta) Ocala, FL; Alfred Hilbert (Patricia) Ocala, FL; James Hilbert Ocala, FL; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, grands, great-grands, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Janet Cogdell, her sisters Alma Reaves, Juanita Cogdell-Taylor, her brothers George Cogdell, James Cogdell, and Alexander Cogdell
