Heide Marie Weisenberger (Eckshalger) was born in Salzburg, Austria on January 23rd, 1941. She immigrated to the Unted States in 1959 where she met and married Eckhard Weisenberger in 1962. Originally settle in the New Jersey area until 1975 when she and her family moved to Florida in search of someplace warmer. They moved to Edgewater, becoming the owners of what was the Edgewater Red and White on Park Avenue. Heide later became a realtor working for others until she became the broker of her own company, Aerea Realty. And as a realtor she worked alongside her husband, developing commercial properties, one of which became Coronado Hardware.
Heide was an avid supporter of the Fine Arts. She enjoyed her evenings at the Peabody as a member of the Daytona Beach Symphony Society. She was a Volusia County Master Gardener and was very proud of her Florida Native Yard. Heide loved her daily morning walks on the beach.
She is survived by her sister, Renate Merkle, daughter, Nadine Wosenske, son, Marcus Weisenberger, grandchildren, John David Wosenske and Savannah Sams and great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Theodore Sams.
