Helen V. Geronda Foresteire Anderson, a resident of Englewood, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, at the age of 79.

Helen was born on January 25, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts to Helen Kerwin and Victor Geronda. She graduated from Billerica High School in 1965 and went on to build a life centered around family, faith and caring for others.

She was a devoted Catholic and a cherished member of Saint Francis of Assisi Church, where she sang in the choir and served as a CCD teacher for many years. Helen also volunteered with the Tidewell Hospice Foundation, compassionately driving patients to their medical appointments. She had a deeply giving heart and was always there for anyone who needed help, often putting others before herself.

More than anything, Helen loved her family and found joy in staying connected to those she cared about. Her kindness, quiet strength, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew her.

Helen is survived by her children, Richard and Michael Foresteire, Victoria Wood, Christine Bisson and Lisa Bramer; her 10 grandchildren; her great-granddaughter, Aubrie; and her sister, Joan Tasi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold Anderson, and her sister, Carol Melendy.

A memorial service will be at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Englewood, Florida on Friday, 12 June 2026 at 11:00 AM.
