Our beloved Mother, Helenrose Ploghoft has gone to be with her Lord on January 20, 2024.

Helenrose was born in Fulton NY, to George and Cora Franklin on January 10, 1923. She lived 101 meaningful years.

She was the loving mother of Tarcile Ross (Jack), of Shelton, Washington,  Terry Ellsworth (Helen) of Polson, Montana and Karen Love (Charles) of West Sunbury, PA.  She was the proud grandmother of 6. Fred, Todd, and Teresa,  Johnson. Anne, and Brian Ellsworth and Paul Love. She had numerous great grandchildren,  several great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.

She spent the past 20 years in Gulfport fl. Where she enjoyed starting each day welcoming the sunrise over Boca Ciega Bay.  Watching the many birds, dolphins , manatees and  boats going by.  She ended her day saying goodnight to the ever changing sunsets.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Art Ellsworth and Paul Ploghoft and her loving companion Milton Sirotta., her two sisters and a brother.

She was known around Gulfport for her fun spirit and her singing.  She performed with the LoveNotes and enjoyed entertaining at care homes in and around the area.

She liked spending time with her niece Carol Breads and Miltons' daughter Phyllis and her compassionate caregiver and friend Timeco Ruth.

Helenrose lived in New York, Washington state and Florida so she had many friends near and far. She so enjoyed visits from her family and friends.

Her zest for life was her motto:  Keep Smiling and Think Positive, which she did right up to the end singing and playing the tambourine on her 101 ^st birthday.

Per her request, there will be no services. Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
