Henrique F. Catanho, born on July 10, 1937, in Madeira, Portugal, passed away peacefully on January 22 at 9:00 a.m., at the age of 88.

Henrique lived a full and meaningful life marked by hard work, service, and devotion to his family. He proudly served in the Portuguese military before building a career with American Flex Cables (AFC). Over the years, his life journey took him across continents—living in Africa and Brazil—before he eventually settled in the United States in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

In 2005, Henrique made Orlando, Florida his home, where he embraced retirement and enjoyed many peaceful years in the Florida sunshine.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Olga Catanho; his son, Henry Catanho; his daughter, Sue Catanho; and his stepson, Frank Mendillo. He is also survived by his cherished grandsons, granddaughters, and extended family, all of whom will deeply miss him.
