Henry Robert (Bob) Joy, born February 25, 1937, lost his battle with Alzheimer's Disease on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He is a Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, and Friend. Bob was born in Miami, where as a teenager he snorkeled and spearfished in the Bay and played football and basketball for Miami Jackson High School.

He was a Veteran who proudly served his Country in the Korean Conflict. Bob worked for Florida Power and Light (FPL) for 36 years in various positions, of which his favorite was working with the crew. His true love was traveling the world, where he walked on the Great Wall of China, and viewed the Terracotta Soldiers up close, toured the Pyramids of Egypt, wondered at the beauty of New Zealand, and was intrigued by Iceland. He enjoyed life, played golf, and snow skied into his 70's. He was truly a people person, his mantra was "laugh and joke and carry on". He never met a stranger.

An Inurnment Ceremony with Military Honors will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida. Services are private at this time.
