Obituary

Henry Lee Braddock III (Lee), age 64, passed away peacefully and calmly on Friday January 30, 2026 surrounded by his family and friends in Brandon, FL. He was born on April 24, 1961 in Washington, DC. Lee is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Liza) Richards (née Bentz) and husband Jim, nephew Sean Richards, niece Gracie Richards, 4 cousins, Andrew, Tom, Jack, and Matthew Clarkson, their families, and many others in the Braddock family.

Lee enjoyed an illustrious career in software engineering, spending nearly 20 years at CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ). What was most important and brought him the greatest joy was his ministry for Jesus Christ. He traveled abroad on mission trips each to Venezuela and Ukraine where he became fluent in both languages and taught English using The Bible as his text book. Lee shared The Gospel with anyone who would listen and was instrumental in countless people deciding to follow Christ. Additionally, he treasured his time as a gifted musician leading worship throughout his life.

He was a beloved member of his church, family, and large circle of friends and will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in his name, be made to:
