Henry Joseph Shaw Jr., 84, of Deltona, Florida passed away on December 28th, 2023. He was born on August 12th, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Henry J. Shaw Sr and Irene Shaw. Henry left school to help run his family's store. After that, he started his career with Metropolitan Life Insurance and got his GED to become a manager. He later went to work in manufacturing as lead supervisor, until his retirement.

Henry enjoyed spending his time attending church, participating with the New Jersey District Boy Scouts, and later volunteering at Florida Healthcare Plans. Although he enjoyed his other hobbies, frequenting the Deltona and Deland Elks Lodge was his favorite. He took great pride in being responsible for the operations of the lodge and worked his way up through the different chairs to become the Exalted Ruler.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. Sr and Irene, and wife, Carolyn.

Henry is survived by his children, Jeanne Riedy and husband, Dave,  Henry Shaw III and s.o., Ginger Bass, of Castalia, NC, Margaret Jenson of Deltona, Fl, Irene Joubert and s.o., Bob McPeek, of Sandyston, NJ, Walter Shaw and wife, Heidi, of Crandon Lakes, NJ and grandchildren, Kenneth Roy and Brittany Riedy, Joey (Henry Joseph Shaw IV), Katherine (Kat) Reed, Richard and Robert Joubert, and Robert (Robby) and Jaclyn Jenson, and great-grandchild, Charlie Reed.
