Henry "Pete"
Sivils
Jun 11, 1947 — Oct 28, 2026
Rockledge
Henry K. “Pete” Sivils, 79, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on October 28, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.
Pete was born in Portland, Arkansas, to the late Loren and Louise Sivils. Following high school, he went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969.
Pete worked as an air conditioning and appliance service technician and was truly an all-around handyman. There wasn't much he couldn't fix, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Pete loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, especially saltwater fishing. He also enjoyed camping, riding ATVs, and exploring in off-road vehicles. He was always up for an adventure and, when the occasion called for it, could even be found playing pickleball.
Though Pete was a quiet man at first, those who took the time to know him discovered a truly special person. He was dedicated, loving, and always ready for life's next adventure. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his many talents, and the love he shared with those closest to him.
Pete is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Ruth Sivils of Rockledge, Florida; his son, Jonathon Sivils of Justin, Texas; brother-in-law Tom L. Conroy of Browns Mills, New Jersey; sister-in-law Georgia Sivils of Roswell, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Hank and Charlie, who were faithful companions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Louise Sivils, and his mother-in-law, Ruth Conroy.
A celebration of Pete's life will be held at a later date.
Pete will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His quiet strength, loving nature, and adventurous spirit will live on in the memories of those whose lives he touched.
