Horace Aster 'Bud' Griffin Jr., 87, of Port Orange, Florida peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on June 13, 2026. He was born on September 19, 1938, in Pavo, Georgia to the late Horace and Beulah Griffin.

At the age of 12 he gave his heart to the Lord and later served Him in many capacities including pastoring 5 churches. He made it his mission to teach and preach to others the love of Christ. He was a spiritual leader in his home as well, and loved his family with all of his heart.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Marie; his three children, Daniel (Susan), Stephen (Janice), and Angela (Kevin); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, sister, Mattie, and brother, Ron (Diane). He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Griffin Sr., his mother, Beulah Griffin, and sister, Carolyn Griffin.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, June 28th, at Jesus Church in Port Orange, Florida. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
