It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother Huguette Ethier died peacefully on April 28, 2024 in Port Orange, Florida after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Born in Montreal, PQ Canada, she lived an amazing life focusing on family, travel, reading, the outdoors, plants, and an entrepreneurial spirit running her exotic plant business for over 30 years here in Florida.

Huguette is predeceased by both her parents, Armand Ethier and Laurence (Lagace) as well as her youngest daughter Lynn Lord. Huguette is survived by her daughter Christine Lord, her two children and six grandchildren; her son Serge Lord, spouse Suzette, their four children and five grandchildren; and Lynn's three children and four grandchildren. Huguette is also survived by her sister Yoland, her husband Conrad and their five children.

At Huguette's request there will not be formal funeral services, however family and friends are welcome to make donations to the American Cancer Society in her name. She will be greatly missed and always in our loving memory as a strong and independent woman.
