In Loving Memory of Ian Sylas Garner

April 3, 2007 – August 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ian Sylas Garner, who left this world on August 25, 2026, at the age of 19.

Ian was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and cherished member of his family. His life, though far too short, touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Ian is survived by his loving mother, Amanda Ellison, and his father, William Todd Garner II. He is also survived by his stepfather, Jacob “Ryan” Ellison, and his stepmother, Kimberly Garner; his brothers and sister, Lukas Garner, Jacob Ryan Ellison II and Brielle Ellison and multiple other beloved family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Ian was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Tamela Garner-Hunt, and his grandfather, Guy Mort.

Ian will be remembered for the person he was, the memories he created, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence brought something unique and irreplaceable to the lives of his family and friends. Although his time with us was much too short, the love for Ian will never fade.

His family will carry his memory in their hearts forever and cherish every moment, every memory, and every piece of him that remains with them.

A celebration of Ian’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements have been finalized.

Rest peacefully, Ian. You were deeply loved, you are forever missed, and you will never be forgotten.
