Ifigenia "Effie" Chrisohoidis passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024. Effie is survived by her loving son, Tasso Chriss, and his spouse Bryan Gureck, both of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Artemis Koucoulis of Sarasota, FL, and Irene Pavlis of Kastoria, Greece. Effie leaves behind her beloved nieces, Olga Georgiakis of East Meadow, NY, and Maria Thompson of London, England.

Effie relocated from Jackson Heights, NY to Clearwater Beach, FL in 1990, where she built a cherished community of friends. In 2020, she moved to Sarasota, FL to be closer to family.

Known for her generosity and kindhearted nature, Effie was also a determined and independent spirit. She loved to knit, crochet, and garden, and was an excellent baker. Her talents and warmth will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, especially her friends in Clearwater Beach, FL.

Effie's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
