It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ingrid Bakken Manna. She departed this Earth to take her place amongst the Heavenly Angels on August 18th of this year after a brief illness that no one was expecting. Ingrid was an artist with an eye for jewelry design that is both unique and original. She lived a quiet life with her dog Blue. Her earlier career was with Blair Radio and WLS in Chicago. She leaves behind a loving sister Karen, sister Lillian, Ingrid's son Andy, his children Elsa and Ava, a niece, Jodie, two nephews, John and Michael and their children, plus many close friendships she developed throughout the years. She will be missed by all. Before her illness she was bound for Norway, a land that she loved. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date, time and place to be announced.
