Ira Waldren Meadows, 79, of Winter Springs, Florida passed away April 28, 2014 at Florida Hospital, Orlando. Ira was a building contractor for many years. He served his country with the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the Orange Lodge #36 AF & AM in Apopka. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cordele, GA. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Meadows, four children Donna (Greg) Dornes of Richmond, Kansas, Marla (Mike) Darwin, of Winter Springs, Michael (Susan) Meadows, of Tampa, Larry (Lori) Meadows of Minneapolis and St. Petersurg, Florida. Eight grandchildren Bill (Missy) Rosenfeld, Bob and Brad Rosenfeld, Matthew (Jen) Darwin, Anna (Scott) Ware, Sean Meadows, AJ Meadows and Keaton (Sarah) Meadows, three great grandchildren Dalton, Brittany, and Madison. A Memorial Service will be at First Baptist Church of Lake Monroe; 691 Monroe Road.  Sanford FL 32771 at 1:00 PM on Saturday May 3, 2014
