Irene G. Johnson, age 87, died on July 6, 2022 in Leesburg, Florida. Irene is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert M Johnson. Irene was born in Landsdowne, Maryland. Her parents were Melvin Leo Klappenberger and Irene Laskowitz. She graduated from Trinity Preparatory School in Ilchester, Maryland in 1951. She Married Robert in 1957 and they had three children, Angela, Suzanne, and Michael. Once the children were born, she became a for-life parent and guardian of her children and a full-time caretaker of her daughter, Suzanne. Suzanne died in 1980. Angela and Michael survive. A memorial Mass is scheduled on Tuesday, July 19 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bushnell, Florida and a funeral Mass and internment is scheduled for July 22 at St Augustine's Catholic Church in Elkridge, Maryland.
