Israel Ortiz Ferrer, 68, of Ocala, FL passed away May 2, 2017.  Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico he came to this area 10 years ago.  He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, a retired truck driver and Catholic by faith.  He is survived by his loving wife, Marlyn Suarez Rodriguez; son, Albert Ortiz (Tanya) of Michigan; daughter, Marilu Simeone (Rocco) of New Jersey; grandchildren, Madison and Brandon Ortiz and Kyle Wheeler.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert.  Visitation will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations (954 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 352-236-5884) on Saturday (May 6th) from 5-7PM with Funeral Services beginning at 6:30PM.  He will be interred at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
