J. Kenneth Davis, of Lake County, FL, died at peace in his home on March 4, 2026. Ken was born December 12, 1940, in Dover, Pennsylvania, to James D. and Avis R. Davis. He was raised in Dover Township and attended Dover High School and Pennsylvania State University. He was predeceased in 2025 by his lovely wife, Virginia (Gini) A. Davis whom he married in 2010 and with whom he enjoyed many happy years of working together, traveling, golfing and fishing. Ken was also predeceased in 2005 by his former wife, Anna (Eigner) Davis, mother of two of his children. Ken is survived by his first wife, Kay (Decker) Hiquet, mother of four of his children.

Ken worked for many years as an electrical engineer at several York County, PA companies, including Fincor and BMY, as well as providing consulting services to many companies throughout the country. He was also a licensed Realtor and served as Realtor Associate and Director of Marketing for JWC Morgan, Realtors. Ken was also an active real estate investor and land developer. His favorite leisure activities included golfing, hunting and fishing.

Ken is survived by his children Kimberly Kohr, DC and her husband JD; Kristina Bange, Esq. and her husband Randy; Karena Strain, OD and her husband Robert; Kendra Davis, MD; Stacy Morgan, PE and her husband Bret; and Mark Davis; a stepson Mark Bolinger and his wife Sonya. Ken has 10 grandchildren: Adam, Stephanie and Keagan Bange; Madison and Sarah Strain; Vaughn Davis; Wright and Benjamin Morgan; Peyton Davis; and Cassie Rogers. His younger sister Karen J. Myers of East Berlin, PA is his sole surviving sibling. Ken was predeceased by his parents, James and Avis Davis and his four older brothers James Gerald Davis, Samuel Eugene Davis, Jackson Edward Davis and Donald Andrew Davis.

His ashes will be spread at a future date near Ocean County, NJ upon the waters where he loved to fish.
