Lt. Col. Jack E. Deal of The Villages passed away on September 23rd, 2026. Jack was born to Archie and Eva Deal on March 11th, 1933 in Muncie, IN and had 3 older siblings Charles, Evelyn and Betty. Jack excelled in athletics playing football, basketball, baseball and track at Burris High School and Ball State University in Muncie. Jack joined the Air Force in 1956 and rose to the rank of Lt. Col. While he was in Special Operations Command, he flew 180 combat missions in Gunships during 2 tours of Vietnam and received 4 Distinguished Flying Crosses for Heroism. After he retired from the Air Force in 1976, Jack went into real estate where he became the Top Realtor in Alabama for over 2 decades. In retirement Jack enjoyed playing golf where he made 12 certified Hole in One’s. He also loved watching sports, dining out, going to movies and spending time with friends and family. Jack is survived by his 2 Children Jim Deal and Karen Hines, his 2 grandchildren Skyler Adcock and Alyssa Adcock, his wife Becky Deal, her Son Rud and his wife Mary Blumentritt and their Daughter Emma Harper, and her Son James and his Wife Mikie Blumentritt, and their Daughter Sarah. The Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 16th, 10:00am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
