Jack Steers, 93, formerly of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and now in Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023.  The former owner of Steers Heating and Air Conditioning Company was also one of the developers of North Hills and Greenmont.  Jack graduated from Parkersburg High school and received his Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.  He was pre-deceased by his wife of 47 years, Jackie, his parents Leland S. Steers and Anna Danielson Steers, and step mother Jean Rankin Steers, and siblings Robert Steers and Shirley Caldwell.  Left behind are his daughters Sharon Fanning and Caroline Robertson, four grandchildren, and sister Lauralee Steers Cantlon.  Jack was fond of playing tennis and fishing, but his passion was in his music.  He was a talented player of the clarinet and saxophone.  He will be missed.  No services are planned at present.
