Obituary

Jacqueline Greenlaw Carrow, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at her home in Port Orange, Florida.

Jacqueline is survived by her children: Sharon Gilley, Cheri Wright, John Carrow Bayne, Robert Carrow, (Carolyn, Courtney, Jonathan), Patricia Howell (Robert ~ Adriana, Adam), Jason Carrow, Judith Fontaine (Warren ~ Aaron, Jack, Emerald), as well as two nieces, a nephew, and many grand and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother Eldoris Greenlaw Antone, brother Francis Greenlaw, sister Patricia Hanson, husband Donald H. Carrow, and son Donald S. Carrow.

Jacqueline was born in Calais, Maine on February 11, 1937. After high school she moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida where she met her husband, Don. Jacqueline settled in the New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater area where she devoted her life to homemaking and most importantly, raising her children. Later in life Jacqueline continued her education by graduating as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Daytona State College, of which she was very proud. After several years of working as a CNA, Jacqueline transitioned to taking care of her grandchildren during their early childhood years.

Jacqueline lived the remainder of her life on Earth enjoying retirement, happily surrounded by her family.

Thoughtful donations can be sent to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society in the name of “Little Dory”, to honor Jacqueline’s lifelong love and empathetic heart for all of God’s creatures.
