Obituary for: Jacqueline "Jackie" Hodges McCluskey

Jackie Hodges McCluskey, age 77, loving wife, mother, sister and friend, of The Villages, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Veda Hodges of Memphis, TN.

Jackie graduated from Frayser High School in 1966. After graduation her work history included many medical facilities, managing the front desk and in administration. This type of work was a perfect fit for Jackie's friendly personality. She always had a welcoming smile, and never met a stranger. Jackie's family and friends were her life. She brought much laughter to her family and was always the peacemaker. Everyone who knew Jackie loved her.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Tommy McCluskey, her devoted daughter Heather, and beloved son-in-law Jeff, all of The Villages, FL; her sister, Betty Snyder (Bill) of Nicholasville, KY, her brother, Larry Hodges (Tallie) of Southaven, MS and a host of nieces and nephews, special cousins and many beloved friends.

Though she is no longer with us, Jackie's legacy of love and laughter will live on. She was definitely one of a kind, and will be dearly missed.
