James "Jim" Aliff, age 64 of Oak Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 after an extended illness.

Jim was born October 26, 1957, in Beckley, WV., a son to the late Ira Franklin and Mary Lou (Holtsclaw) Aliff.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Monica Pellerin, and grandson Brock Pellerin of Twin City, GA.; one sister, Lisa Bennett of Colonial Heights, VA.; two nieces, Jennifer Aliff Baker and Rebekah Aliff; four nephews, Frankie Aliff, Dustin, Kevin and Joshua Bennett; several great nieces and nephews, long time friend, Ray Grimes; his two dogs, Angel and Daisy, and his three cats; Caesar, Doobie and Hash.

In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Rene Aliff, and two brothers; Walter Lee Jones, and Ira Franklin Aliff.

Jim was a kind and caring man. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
