Jim Aubry, 80, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Illinois, passed away surrounded by family on February 1st, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Funeral Services will be held on February 28th at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912. Visitation at 9:30am, funeral mass at 10:00am.

Jim was born in Moline, IL to Richard and Grace Aubry on April 12th,1944. He graduated from Alleman High School and St. Ambrose University. He then married Phebe Block on September 10th, 1966. He worked at Deere and Company for 35 years, where he made lifelong friends. Jim was an avid golfer and a die-hard Alleman Pioneers, Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame fan. He also enjoyed spending his time in the woodworking shop making gifts for family and friends. And if you knew Jim, you know that he never passed up the opportunity to tell a good joke!

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Phebe, his parents Richard and Grace, his sisters Jeanne and Ann, his brother Dick, and his son-in-law Joe Campolo.

He is survived by his children Angie Campolo, Kate Dhaemers (Steve), Chip (Jeanette) and Patrick (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mia, Caroline, Claudia, Jacklyn, Stella, Alice and Theo, and his brother Tom.
