James “Jimbo”
B. Rahill
August 1, 1963 – October 23, 2020
James "Jimbo" Bernard Rahill, 57, of Fern Park, FL died peacefully in his sleep on Friday October 23, 2020 in Fort Wayne, IN. Jimbo was born August 1st, 1963 in Quantico, VA at the Naval Hospital to Marion and James Rahill. The Rahill family settled in Fern Park, FL in 1971 where Jimbo later graduated from Lake Howell High School. Jimbo went on to receive his Master's Degree from the University of Central Florida and spent his career as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He was recently contracted to work as a Civilian Mental Health Counselor with the US Navy. He will be remembered as a child of God, a son, brother, friend, husband, father, outdoorsman, musician, entertainer, comforter to the hurting and especially for his gentle "Hippie" spirt. Jimbo is survived by his two adored children, Brendan Rahill and Leah Rahill and the mother of their children, Kim Wilder. His spirit lives on through his children and his large and loving family including his father, James Rahill, brothers, Peter, Michael, Paul and his sister MaryBeth and their spouses. He will be missed dearly by his friends that he has met along the way, since in his eyes, no one ever truly was a stranger. A Celebration of Life will be held November 14 th , 2020 at the home of Paul and Marcia Rahill, 932 Versailles Circle, Maitland FL 32751. We will have an open mic for anyone who wants to share a story. For those who, like Jimbo, are musically talented and would like to play something, bring it! Also, in honor of Jimbo's "style", the Family invites you to come dressed VERY casual; shorts, tie-dye or fishing shirts and "dad sandals" or flip flops. This event will be "livestreamed" on Jimbo Rahill's Facebook page. If sending flowers for the service, flowers should arrive at the above address November 13. Donations, if so inclined, can be made in Jimbo's memory to "Kids House" (Children's Advocacy Center) https://www.kidshouse.org/
