James A Barton, went to be with the Lord October 6, 2021.   He was born in Elberton Ga. March 11, 1955 to James and Bertha Barton.  He is survived by his brother Steve Barton (Lori) in Anderson SC.  Nephew Matthew Barton in Maitland FL. and his BEST buddy Michael Dice of Daytona. Jimmy was  retired from Progress Energy, and well known in the local stock car racing community, (he did some driving, and won many times), was known as a good wrench.
