In Loving Memory of James C. Bevins January 21, 1949 – June 13, 2020

Jim passed away with family at his side on Saturday, June 13 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Jim was raised in Mansfield, Ohio. He served with the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Conflict as a jet mechanic on the F4 Phantom. Forever a "Buckeye" Jim proudly attended THE Ohio State University. He was a member of the South Gate Masonic Lodge and the Aladdin Shrine Temple Columbus, Ohio. Jim retired after 45 years as a Union Millwright.

Every summer, Jim rented a beach house in North Carolina for family vacations. Each year he would have a new grandchild to carry on his shoulders through the sand and waves. As the family grew, so did the numerous beach houses. From holidays and birthdays to Sunday dinners, Jim always sat at the head of our table – and always at the head of all our lives.

As a devoted husband of 35 years to Terri, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Jim will forever be loved and deeply missed.
