James Thomas Bible, 80, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born April 4, 1943, in Miami, FL to George and Helen (née Day) Bible.

Jim Bible was a 40-year resident on the Florida Keys and recently moved to Fort Myers Florida. Jim was an Army Airborne paratrooper in the beginning of the Vietnam war, a commercial pilot for Eastern Airlines and American Eagle for over 35 years. He collected and wrote a book on his family history, which is a family treasure. Jim was a believer in Jesus Christ and affiliated with the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his younger brother Christopher Bible; wife of 55 years, Donna Bible; three children, Michelle Schafstall, Terry Pierce and Andrew Bible; 10 grandchildren; as well as one great granddaughter.

Jim (Poppa) will join his granddaughter Jessica Schafstall, in heaven.

Jim will be cremated and the family will spread his ashes on little Conch Reef in Islamorada, FL. Where both his mother and father are. This will be later this summer, for family only.
