James Joseph Boyd, 77, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on November 22, 2015. James was born on April 26, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to the late James J. and Winnifred Boyd. He was a United States Army Veteran, and worked many years as a Butcher. James was currently working in the Meat Department at the Walmart in Port Orange. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, yardwork, and spending time with his loving wife Marion. James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion P. Boyd; his son, James Boyd III (Theresa); his son Michael Boyd (Pamela); his daughter, Patricia Frank; his brother, Dennis Boyd (Roseanne); his 6 grandchildren, Nichole Trochlell, Kaitlyn Boyd, Alexis Frank, Hayden Frank, Alec Boyd, and Aaron Boyd; his great grandchild, Salem Trochlell; and his faithful pet dog, Patrick. A Memorial Service will be held on December 28th, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL. Burial will take place at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of James to the Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange FL, 32129.
