James F. Carriveau II, affectionately known as Jim, Jimbo King of the Keg, or Vooski, passed away on March 13, 2025 in Flagler Beach, FL. Born on June 20, 1948 in Detroit, MI, Jim proudly served his country with honor in the US Air Force in the Philippines and Vietnam from 1968 to 1972. After his service, he was an accountant and co-founded Best Financial in South Daytona, FL. He was an avid reader who enjoyed Stephen King novels and military history books. He loved to camp, ride Harley's, and host legendary parties like the annual "Oyster Fest" on the last Saturday of Daytona Bike Week for 32 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James F. Carriveau and Phyllis (Rodgers), Harriet Quigley, Jenny (Rodney) Swickard, Isabella Winters.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Patty Quigley; his sisters, Jackie Morgan and Susan Stranahan (Charles); his children, Derrek, Tara Carriveau (Joe Owens), and Erin Strauss (Kurt); and his honorary children, Mark Evers and Vikki Scholz.

Jim was a cherished grandfather to Gracie, Sonya, Olivia Strauss, Ashton Carriveau, Leonard, Gloria Carriveau, Samantha, Alyssa, and Simon Owens, and a proud great-grandfather to Delilah, Rowan, Evie, Jace, Skyler, Jackson, Raven, and Quinn.

He is also survived by his in-laws, Ladd Quigley, Larry Quigley (Lori), Shawn (Vicki) Quigley, and Kathleen (Jack) Neuliep, as well as many so very loved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Jim's legacy of love, service, and passion for life will be remembered by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Support Fund at www.veteranssupportfund.org

A celebration of life will be held at Ormond Brewing Company- 301 Division Ave, Ormond Beach, FL 32174 – on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 pm.
