"Jimmy" James Joseph Coleman, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on the morning of July 24th, 2022 at the age of 73. He died peacefully in his own home surrounded by his loving wife and children.

James was born in New York, New York on March 14, 1949, to Anna Eileen (Kavanagh) and James Joseph Coleman, Sr. He was the eldest of seven children.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eileen Coleman.

James is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years Ramona A. Coleman (Tavarez); three children Kim Coleman Cabrera, Christine Elizabeth Boateng, and Raymond James Coleman; five beautiful grandchildren Jaden Benjamin Cabrera, Kayla Elise Cabrera, Alexander Raymond Cabrera, Noemi Elise Boateng, and Gianna Noelle Boateng; and six siblings Kevin Coleman, Christopher Coleman, Daniel Coleman, Andrew Coleman, Nancy Coleman, and Jane Miller, along with many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private Celebration of Life for James will be held at DeRomo's Banquet Hall in Bonita Springs, Florida on August 7, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of the following charitable organizations.
