James J. Devoy, 85, of Ocala, FL passed away September 23, 2017.  Born in Chicago, IL, he was a native of Mt. Vernon, IL and came to this area 3 years ago from Baton Rouge, LA.  James was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a retired plant manager for General Electric.  He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed traveling and playing golf and bridge.  He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; children, Michael (Anne) Devoy, Bruce (Carol) Devoy, Tracy Alinger (fiancée-Richard Lonigro), Kevin (Tracy) Devoy, Sean (Liz) Devoy and Julianne (Leonard) Caillouet; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  A Celebration of James' Life will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations (11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd. Ocala 352-236-7813) on Saturday, Sept. 30th at 11AM.
