JAMES B. DOWNS SR. November 17, 1935 – February 12, 2018

James was a horse person through and through. He retired to Florida from training horses at his stables – "Ming Li Stables", to which he was very proud of. He in his later years enjoyed traveling with his wife. They loved Santa Fe NM. And often wished that they retired to there. "Jimmy" to his friends, was one of the sweetest people you'd ever want to meet, and had a quirky sense of humor. James lost his wife of 22 years on December 27, 2017. James left behind his little dog Tojo, who now has a new family who loves him just as much as he did. And his friend and care-giver Mary Crockett. And his best friend Larry Seitz, who is now Tojo's new Daddy. Jimmy was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Jimmy. You're in the arms of Jesus now.
