James G. Gibson, 87 of Cape Coral, FL.
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side June 18, 2023
He was born in Atlanta, GA the son of William R. Sr. and Annie Palmer Gibson.
Gerald proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was an excellent Craftsman; from being a General Contractor, remodeling most of the Sears in Florida back in the 80's, to being a leader at Habitat for Humanity in Lee County building homes in our community which he took pride in until he retired.
He and Carole had just celebrated their 44 th anniversary earlier this year. They enjoyed their years together and shared a deep love for one another.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Patricia Gibson and Grandson Dillon Gibson.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carole Gibson; Sons, Jerry Gibson, Paul (Cathy) Gibson; Grandchildren, Karla (Tim) Curington, Allen (Kari) Gibson, Daniel (Karissa) Gibson, Keri (Reese) Bentley, Great-Grandchildren; Matthew, Titus, Micaela, Dakota, Alanta, Kaelyn, Kourtney, Kaiden, Thad, Sarai, Hazel and Raelynn.
Daniel (Joanna) Gibson; Grandchildren, Danielle, Tyler (Sydney), Great-Granddaughter Madison Jo.
Rick (Kim) Gibson, Grandchildren; Kacie and Patrick.
Daughters; Lynn, Pam (Jim) McKee. Grandchildren; Jon and Kimberly
Stepdaughters, Tara Saunders; Grandchildren; Allen (Joceline), Olivia, Parker Saunders, Great-Grandchildren; Allen Jr., Angela and Aria Saunders.
Katie (Scott) Barnes; Grandchildren; Emily (Kyle), Lydia, Great-Grandchildren; Mikah and Collins.
Date and times for Celebration of life will be posted by the family at a later date.

He will be remembered as a great husband and father to all his children. Also, for being hardworking man, who cared for others. Took time to teach you the correct way to do things and enjoyed the little things in life.
