James (Jimmy) Michael Green, 85, of North Ft. Myers, FL, passed from this life into glory on January 3, 2023.  Jimmy was born on January 8, 1937, in Washington, DC to the late Maurice & Catherine Green.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sibling, Charles Green.  Jimmy worked for the National Park Service in Washington, DC, until his retirement and move to Florida in 2000.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Carolyn and children, James Michael Green, Jr. of Abilene, TX; Lawrence Kelly Green and his wife, Elizabeth of Tarpon Springs, FL; John Francis Green and his wife, Susan of Rapidan, VA; Diann Sheldon and her partner Shunna of Steilacoom, WA; Lynda Sarecky and her husband Steve of Brookeville, MD; and Bradley Sheldon of Brookeville, MD.  He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA February 11, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  There will be a private service of interment.
