James Loren Hackbush, born on July 25, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Fort Myers, FL. He was a devoted husband to Jane C. Hackbush for 67 years and a loving father to their children: Kathleen (Mark) Hill, Shawn (David) Carcaterro, Maureen (Trip) van Roden, and Roger (Kay) Hackbush.

James cherished his family, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love that extended to 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Edward Hackbush and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, James E. Hackbush, and his sisters, Kathleen Hackbush and Grace Odien.

James will be remembered for his deep love for God and his family.
