James "Jim" Robert Langston, also known as Bob Langston, 91, passed away August 27, 2019, at his home in Fort Myers, FL. Born January 5, 1928, in Atlanta, GA., he was the son of Don Newton Langston and Dixie Hyacinth Dodgen. Jim worked for the state of New Jersey as a corrections officer for 23 years prior to his retirement. He and his family moved to Fort Myers in 1974.

With his passing, he left behind his loving wife of 73 years Elizabeth Oxley Langston, two younger brothers, Tom and Ken, 10 kids, 21 grandkids, 24 great grandkids, two great-great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

There will be a funeral mass for Bob on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, at 10 am., at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 5632 Sunrise Drive, Fort Myers, FL., 33919. There will be a celebratory gathering in the church hall afterwards. "We hope you can join our family in celebration of Dad's life."
